Hello
I too have wonderful memories of Guy and the Rainbow Temple. I stayed twice, I think the first time was in 1993 and then again a year or so later with my boyfriend at the time David Springle.
Now that I know you are still there I'm going to come visit with my daughter sometime soon.

Hello!
A friend told me about this amazing project. I would love to come and contribute. How does it work, do you have rooms and can I come only for some days and work?
thank you for information

Hello, I have fond memories of my visit to see Rainbow Guy in Autumn 1989... and as I'm planning to revisit the Byron area in April 2011 I wondered if the temple is still open to the public for feasts and chanting..and wonderful spiritual experiences?
If so, what days of the week..etc.

It is a great place with a great man running it.
and
Don't expect a reply if using the web page to contact them
or
expect a return phone call if you ring the number several times and leave a please call back message
If you do actually physically go there
you must appear QUIET on the OUTSIDE
No matter How silent you may be on the inside
My recommendation is to go there even if you do have to take a vow of silence....in your own mind....(it is not demanded)
It is a beautiful rainforest setting with magnificent buildings and a truly comitted owner boss cocky. ie GUY
Who protects the current environments nfrom ALL who would despoil it. |

I think this way of life is unique beauty! In this kind of environment, Indeviduals are able to know them-selfs, respect, being responsible, to open up and discover their own unique talent which will help them to seek their enlighted path towards a destiny.
A magical place well done =D
Would love to visit! |

Hello Rainbow temple!
I stayed there for several days back in 2002. I was in a tough spot and going through a lot of change. I still am going through a lot of change, but now I'm blossoming and getting ready to fly.
Thank you Rainbow temple, Guy, Pixie, Lou, The Faeries for showing me the essence of harmony, love, peace, simplicity, beauty, sharing, nature, life... So true dat!
Aaahhh.... I remember the open air beds with mosquito nets, the amazing kitchen, amazing food (vegan vege curry and hot chocolate with cream and real chocolate!).
Ever since visiting the Rainbow temple I have sought to create my own temple wherever I go.... ....to anchor the energies of harmony, to make others feel at home, welcome and safe.
Much love to y'all.
Om Shanti, shanti, shanti..... Hari.... Om...

to look at these pictures is surreal...a different me lived at the temple for 6 months in....1997! 10 years ago!
hello to all who might remember me - steph and guy and storm and stoula and eric and shawna and especially gus and brian (timber) and sandall faerie of course. hello to the shower and the lovely open air bathtub which occasionally hosted nighttime candlelit baths, hello to the toilet which sometimes stunk, hello to the rain tank which echoed so beautifully, hello to the burnt down tree in the parking lot which stood so boldly before the moon - i dreamt of you after leaving, hello to the faerie hut in which my sisters brought me such gifts that one day, hello to the mushrooms which sprout after a good rain, hello to the bananas who provided nourishment when we tired of porridge, hello to the teepee in which i slept, hello to the firering in the teepee which we passed nutella around and sang, hello to the songs, and hello to you.
you fill the back corners of my dreams,
gypsy (desi)
p.s. no hellos to the leeches
hey guess what? little katie is getting married! |
